Circles

There is a set of informal circles, that slightly overlap in person. This is as it were the first impression circle. The first thing you see when you look at someone, just like in highschool you would immediately know in which group to place a person.
All PC's are part of one circle and may work either to rise higher within their chosen circle, or to expand and be part of more than one. It will be obvious after your first few days at court which circle you belong in naturally. Each character has their role chosen for them by society and have to work to be seen outside of that role. Your circle will be mentioned in your player profile.
All NPC's are part of one or more circles. This will be reflected in the wiki. A PC within the circle might assume knowing them, and having easy access to them. NPC's might assign tasks to PC's in return for money or future favour. Likewise a PC might do that with other PC's in their circle.
The circles:
As part of an effort to stimulate player pro-activity and creating extra tools which make that easier for players each circle will have its own forum to which only characters in that particular circle have access. It can be used for OOC plotting, Summary RP with getting into contact with NPC's of that circle, moderators giving out information particular to only that circle etc.
Each circle will have a list of minor jobs available that a PC can try and gain.
